Warners Midlands awarded ISO 14001 recertification
WARNERS Midlands’ commitment to the environment has been demonstrated by its ISO 14001 recertification.
ISO 14001 establishes requirements for a company to analyse the impact it has on the environment and establish processes to improve this. Companies must also ensure ongoing review and compliance.
Registration is valid for three years, subject to ongoing audits, and must be fully reviewed and renewed every three years. Warners Midlands was first certified in 2006 and has now passed its three-year renewal audit.
Facilities co-ordinator Kevin Day said: “Recertification demonstrates to our customers our commitment to the environment and proves that as a company we are doing all we can to minimise our impact on the environment and have introduced ongoing processes to achieve this.”
