Warners has just commissioned its new MAN Lithoman IV 32 page web offset press. This represents the final stage in a £10million capital expansion programme that began in 2005.
In the last 2 years Warners has extended its premises and built a new state of the art press and Bindery Hall to house not only this machine but also the very latest Kodak Magnus VLF CTP platesetter to provide plates for it. The press and CTP were not the first equipment to be located in the new factory unit. Back in September 2006 Warners commissioned a 12 station Muller Martini Corona binder with complete in line strapping, shrink wrapping and palletising. At the same time a new Komori Lithrone 640 sheet-fed press was also installed to increase the plants cover production capacity. Speaking on the investment Philip Warner Managing Director said:
"This investment represents our continuing commitment to offer the highest quality and best value service in the short to medium run printing market both today and in the future."
