It is recommended that the .pdf files are created as single pages (i.e. one .pdf file does not contain more than one actual page of the publication) and that a standard file naming convention is adopted.

All .pdfs should be print ready, made to Pass4Press Version 8 specifications. These can be downloaded from www.pass4press.com

InSite will display the files in a logical order if the naming convention is adhered to. If the page carries a single folio e.g. 3, this should be preceded by a zero - 03.

The file name should be no more than 27 characters and should not include any nonstandard characters, e.g. /:;\@* etc.

All file names should also include an abbreviation of the publication title and issue e.g.

p$$_TestMagApril08.pdf (where '$$' is the actual folio printed on the page.)

It is also important that a _ (underscore) character is included in the file name, directly after the folio.

If a new or correction file is uploaded, an 'x' should be added to the folio to indicate a replacement page e.g.

p03x_TestMagApril08.pdf
