A Brief History Of Warners Midlands

Warners Midlands Plc is a family-run business that has been trading since 1926. It is a specialist printers and magazine publisher based in Bourne, Lincolnshire.

It was founded as a newsagent by the late Lorenzo Warner in 1926 and moved into printing in the 1960s. Warners Midlands moved to our current location in the 1970’s and magazine publishing in the late 1980s.

Modern day

Today, the printing company employs over 180 people and is the chosen print partner for 100’s of customers. Its fully-equipped plant can handle just about every aspect of the magazine and brochure printing process from design through to mailing and dispatch.

Warners Midlands occupy premises totalling 150,000 square feet on a site that covers 10 acres. Bourne sits 15 miles north of Peterborough and is within easy distance of the A1. London is 55 minutes by train from Peterborough.

Our sister-company, Warners Group Publications plc, publishes more than 30 magazine titles. It also provides a full range of publishing services across a variety of contract titles.

The exhibition arm of the business organises a range of complementary events in the outdoor leisure and hobby markets. Its motorhome events are the leading shows in the outdoor market and are run in association with MMM magazine, the UK’s best-selling motorcaravan magazine.
