Terms &ISO 14001
We were delighted to have successfully secured ISO 14001 certification in 2006 as it recognises our strong commitment to using printing processes and introducing measures that minimise our impact on the environment.
Certification to this international standard assures our customers that as their supplier we have installed an Environmental Management System that is assessed twice annually by the internationally renowned Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance.
It also demonstrates to your own customers that you are committed to using suppliers that are concerned about the environment.
It was first published as a standard in 1996 and specifies the requirements for an organisation's environmental management system. It applies to those environmental aspects over which an organisation has control and where it can be expected to have an influence.
Two years after we first achieved certification we opened a new press hall housing a £2.5 million web-offset printing press, which uses some of the most advanced environmentally friendly practises available.
