Printing firm secures £1m of new orders
WARNERS Midlands PLC, one of the UK’s largest independent printers of magazines, catalogues and brochures, has won a prestigious printing contract for three years with one of the UK’s top trades unions.
It is printing and distributing four different publications for the Public and Commercial Services Union (PCS) with the largest being View which has a monthly print run of 300,000 and is distributed to all its members.
Other PCS titles printed by Warners for PCS include Oracle, Voice and Activate and are aimed at different areas of employment within the Union. The three-year contract is worth £3 million and includes an option to extend to five years.
Warners Midlands PLC Managing Director Philip Warner said: “All the printing contracts are quite different in size and scope and yet each was won against very stiff competition.”
