Print Lingo ExplainedBlankets.

Printing blankets are entirely different to the warm comfortable ones we are all familiar with. These printing blankets are made of rubber and are in place to transfer the ink from a plate to the paper that is being printed on.

  • Blankets are what actually touch the  paper
  • Usually made out of rubber
  • Used only in Offset litho printing
  • Not needed in digital as there are no aluminium plates.
