For Ben and Sam

“Ben aged 9 and Sam aged 5 years have Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD),
a rare muscle wasting condition that is life limiting and affects one in every 3,500 boys.”

Ben, Sam and Lily with Michael Warner on their visit

Here at Warners we are committed to raising as much money as possible to support Ben and Sam Rogers.  It was Kev Lee in the Machine Room who let us know about the boys’ recent diagnosis and once we met Ben and Sam’s mother –  Anna we were even more determined to help the family raise  the funds for a much needed hydrotherapy pool, we were also delighted to welcome Ben, Sam and sister Lily to Warners on 31st March 2016 and let them know who we are and what we do.

This year we really wanted to take some action to help 2 local boys whose family have close connections to our community.  The Rat Race and football match are the first two of our big fund raisers for this year and throughout 2016 we will be stepping up our activities to raise as much money as possible.

So what are we doing to help?

Our sports and social committee have arranged many fund raising events throughout the year and a list of upcoming events are listed below. Warners will also support the individual endeavours of employees wanting to raise money for Ben and Sam.

We are delighted to announce that Warners have presented a cheque for £13,500 to “Forbenandsam”. To read the article follow this link :
